If You Can Put It In A Box…You’ll Make Millions

Today I had a little impromptu meeting with my brother (the middle one of the 3 of us – I’m the oldest).

He’s wildly successful in my eyes and he’s got almost everything right.

A few tweaks here and there and I think he’ll go on to do huge things in the fitness industry…

Anyway, I was pointing him in the right direction with his positioning and “how to” market a little better.

I threw idea after idea at him…and…it made me realise something.

You know so much more than you think you do.

The life of a copywriter can get a little strange sometimes...

You live in your own box and with all the studying, researching, writing, editing, idea-ing, and so on…you can get a little lost in your own head.

I know I have more than once.

You start to feel like everything’s come to a screeching halt. Your mind doesn’t work anymore. You haven’t learnt anything. What’s the point. And so on. And so on. And so on.

But here’s the thing.

If you get challenged on something, asked something, interviewed for something – you’ll realise it’s all tucked up in there somewhere.

Your mind starts to flow, the stars align, and before you know it, you’ve just spat out a multi-million dollar idea that I’m pretty sure might just change both my own, and my families lives.

But hey, maybe that’s just me being over-confident.

We’ll find out soon I guess.

So,  What's All This
About A Box?

Well, as I was yapping away, an old Dan Kennedy course popped into my head.

It’s one where he talks about how he “got into the game” as a youngster. One of his first big wins.

He worked on a whole marketing campaign from planning to build-out for either a Chiropractor or a Dentist…I forget which – but that’s not important.

What’s important is what he did next.

You see, Dan’s a frickin’ genius. Yes, he’s a little hypey and over-sensational at times, but his mind is unmatched when it comes to marketing sometimes (and besides, that’s just his “chosen” personality).

I mean, that's the reason I went and dropped a boat-load of money to become a Dan Kennedy Trained name next to his is more than worth the price of admission.

Anyway, back to what he did.

He took everything he’d done successfully for this client, stripped out the “branding” and the “packaging”…wrapped it all up in a box (a process)…walked down the road (probably the next city over)…and offered the same success to another chiro/dentist.

Halved his workload for the next project…with the same influx of cash.

It’s not copy and paste but the “structure” of what he did stays unchanged. It’s all the same.

The hard-work comes up front…the first time round…and after that, you’ve got an asset you can leverage again, and again, and again.

Seriously, read that again because it’s genius – and I can say that because it’s DK’s idea, not mine.

And after that, ask yourself…how could you put this idea to use?

If I go through with it, I expect it’ll make me a whole load of money…and it could do the same for you too.
